Profile

For more than 25 years, Theresa Marcroft has found creative and effective ways to grow revenues for Silicon Valley's high technology companies by leveraging both contemporary and classical marketing techniques.

Theresa honed her expertise at Regis McKenna, working directly for Geoff Moore, author of Crossing the Chasm. As a result, Theresa is especially strong in corporate & product messaging, competitive & market positioning, and marketing strategy to grow revenues and win market share. She developed her "marketing savvy" as head of marketing for Silicon Valley technology companies. She was VP Worldwide Marketing for Cylink, Inc., which provided several network security solutions she repositioned and united under a “Securing eBusiness” theme in 2000. With a deep background in marketing enterprise software and network security products to Fortune 1000 I.T. departments, Theresa founded her consulting business, MarketSavvy Inc., in 2001. From 2001 to 2017, she served Silicon Valley companies as an “interim VP Marketing”, offering a unique mix of practical and effective marketing advice and implementation to small, growing companies, setting each on their own high-growth path. Details of her versatile work with several technology clients can be found at www.market-savvy.com/

Just this month, Nov.2017, Theresa joined Hubitat Inc. as their CMO. Look for Hubitat to be a true innovator in the smart home space when they launch their home automation offering soon!
