Tom Loeffert UK HR Director at SAP


Tom Loeffert brings 20 years of progressive HR and business experience with some of the world’s best known companies and brands.  He is a passionate, results driven leader who believes in the power of talent, technology and leadership to transform companies.

Tom has been the HRD for the United Kingdom with SAP since December of 2014.  As a member of the Senior Leadership Team for the UK, he is ultimately responsible for ensuring that SAP has a inclusive culture with inspiring leaders and engaged, agile employees driven by Purpose with the right digital capabilities and to provide an exceptional employee experience, success for It’s customers, and deliver profitable growth for SAP in the United Kingdom, it’s third largest business in the world. .  

Prior to his current role, Tom was the Human Resources Director for Global Sales and Services at Successfactors, an SAP Company.  He has held a variety HR leadership positions over his career with large, global organizations such as Hewlett-Packard, Gap Inc. (where he implemented and ran the Successfactors Workforce Analytics Platform), Cisco Systems, The Quaker Oats Company and PepsiCo.  Tom has a wide range of HR experience in the areas of HR  Strategy, Talent Management , Diversity and Inclusion, Workforce Planning, Change Management and Communications, Employee Engagement, Leadership Development, Organizational Design and Effectiveness, HR Analytics and HR Technology.

Tom has a Master’s Degree in Human Resources from the Human Resources/Labor Relations Program at Michigan State University in the United States. Tom currently sits on the Board of GenerationSuccess in London, which is focused on creating opportunities for social mobility. He has worked with the Taproot Foundation in San Francisco on a number of HR projects for the non-profit sector and mentored and tutored youth at the Cabrini Green Youth Development Program in Chicago, Illinois. 

He original is from New York but now calls London home.
