Chris Rezentes Senior Manager for Partner & Product Strategy – Asia Pacific at Verizon


Chris Rezentes is Senior Manager of Partner and Product Strategy for Verizon in Asia Pacific. In his role, he leads the regional product strategy, P&L, and roadmap for key Verizon network products including IP, Ethernet, SDN, NFV, and Secure Cloud Interconnect products.  He is also leading the Carrier Interconnect and Cloud Partner team in Asia supporting carrier and cloud partnerships and products. Previously, Chris played a major role in the technology planning and launch of new Verizon products across the Asia Pacific region including Ethernet transformation and converged packet access solutions.  His team was integral to Verizon expanding the geographical coverage for all products across South East Asia.  Chris has a strong focus ensuring Verizon maintains a solid global position, growing the company’s South East Asia network to meet burgeoning market demands. Chris moved to Singapore in 2008 to take responsibility for Verizon Network Planning spanning the South East Asian countries.  During this time, Chris was instrumental in the planning and implementation of new MPLS / IP hubs in Indonesia, Pakistan, Malaysia, and Sri Lanka.  He also led the strategy and expansion of the Verizon fiber network in Singapore, which doubled in size since his arrival. Prior to his move to Singapore, Chris was based in the United States, where he led the Asia Pacific mesh design and architecture team.  In this role, he led the commercial negotiation and technical design to support implementation of the Verizon global mesh backbone between 2002 and 2007. Chris joined Verizon in 1996. Chris holds a bachelors degree in communications from Ohio University (U.S.).
