Paul SchüpbachCEO at CAD Software Solutions
Profile
Paul started as a toolmaker, working on CNC machines. From there he stepped to CNC programming (CAM) to CAD. For 5 years he joined the manufacturing team at SDRC and started programming to customize CAD and for CAD process automation. In 2000 he started his own software company.
Paul has developed software around CAD for the past 20 years, basically for machine engineering companies. In 2013 he started together with his partner Harry Paintner from Munich a customer project to transfer large CAD Assemblies into a virtual 3D spare part catalogs. Paul's long time experience in 3D CAD programming and Harry's knowledge in 3D graphics in combination with Unity3D has created a complete new strategy to reduce large CAD Assemblies from engineers to visualize on PCs/Macs, Websites, mobile devices and for AR / VR use. Several patents confirm that this process is new and unique, and that this method enables even assemblies of several 10,000 individual parts to be streamed and visualized without any problems - even on mobile devices.
