2018 Startup Elevate Exhibitors - TechXLR8
Witt Limited, a UK based company, has developed a patented innovative transmission system (the “WITT”), that converts naturally occurring motion in any direction (chaotic energy) into rotational motion in a single direction, for the production of electrical power.
The Device is able to convert motion from water, wind, vehicle, humans and animals, and other sources into useable power. It has a wide range of applications in a variety of fields, taking all motion, clockwise, anti-clockwise, back and forth and up and down, known as 6 degrees of motion and converting it into power. There is no other transmission capable of collecting the full 6 degrees of motion.
The Company is now engaging with global corporates to exclusively license the WITT technology into specific markets where the Licensee can secure a competitive position on mutually acceptable license terms. An exit to any one of these global corporates may be achievable, as might an AIM listing.
An early market being pursued by the company is a small human power WITT placed in the base of a backpack which can re-charge smartphones etc when the user is away from mains power. A slightly larger device in the base of a soldier backpack has defence and homeland security applications etc.
Another market is providing power for marine buoys and other devices both on the sea surface and subsea where power can be generated 24/7.
The Company has an experienced Chairman and a CEO with a track record of building £100mn+ entities.
