Rowell is a seasoned Solutions and Data Architect, with key expertise on the Telecommunications & Media Industry with over 23 years of experience on both the Software Provider and End-User side. He has recently engaged with Thakral One as Senior Advisor related to Telco Analytics, supporting Regional Business Analytics implementations in the Philippines and across the Asia Pacific Region.

His experience encompasses Big Data Solutions Development, Solutions Architecture, Data Engineering, Product and Business Development. He has helped Cloudera in advocating how Big Data and Analytics help Telco Operators in the region gain actionable insights of their business, as Industry & Solutions Leader for Telecommunications since 2018. He has also served as the Head of Enterprise Data Governance and Architecture in ABS-CBN, driving Big Data Analytics projects on digital media platforms from conceptualization, design and project execution - helping the organization attain a full Customer 360 understanding of their customers. 

Rowell was previously appointed as a Senior Practice Manager for Data Integration (DataStage) at Teradata Philippines from 2012-2016, leading a large team focused on building and managing Active Enterprise Data Architectures across clients in the Americas and Latin America region and helping them realize the value of being data driven organizations. He was also directly engaged with Globe Telecommunications for 9 years as Head of Loyalty & Rewards Delivery Group in IT, covering the deployment of Campaign Lifecycle Management and Customer Relationship Management Platforms to increase the Telco’s agility in delivering value added products and services to its mobile and corporate subscribers, and as Head of CRM Operations in Marketing, responsible for executing rapid below-the-line personalized micro-campaigns which helped in increasing Globe's bottom line.
