ABOUT YOUR HOST
Mohammad is a Senior Data Scientist at Apple and Lecturer at Stanford University. Prior to joining Apple, he worked for Samsung, Bosch, General electric Research and UCLA on predictive modeling projects. He received a PhD in Computer Science from the University of California, Riverside and B.Sc. from University of Tehran. Mohammad is the author of the book, ‘Applications of Mining Massive Time Series Data'.
HIGH LEVEL OVERVIEW OF:
- Basic analysis and visualisation of data
- Introductory machine learning concepts
- Basic programming in R (a programming language widely used for data analytics)
A HANDS-ON APROACH
Expect interactive problem solving with examples coming from real-world problems in weather, marketing, biology, stocks, neuroscience, medicine, and other disciplines. By the end of
the workshop, attendees will be able to apply data science techniques to real world applications in order to draw meaningful conclusions.
DATE & TIMINGS
The workshop will begin at 1:30PM and end at 5PM on the 30th October, the day before the Telco Data Analytics & AI Europe agenda kicks off.
This workshop costs £300 to attend as a standalone event. This fee does not include access to Day 1 and 2 of Telco Data Analytics & AI Europe, which can be purchased separately.
