Ira Cohen

Ira is an industry-leading expert in the development and application of statistical machine learning for solving business challenges. He has extensive experience leading R&D teams in formulating technological innovations all the way through business validation and actual implementation. He has proven academic and industrial leadership in the areas of machine learning and statistical modeling and video analysis, specifically classification, semi-supervised learning, Bayesian Network classifiers and adaptive temporal modeling. Prior to founding Anodot, Ira served as chief data scientist at Hewlett-Packard. He holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical and computer engineering from Ben Gurion University of the Negev and an MSc and PhD in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He has also led research teams at UC Berkeley and Stanford University
