JONATHAN LAKIN is Founder and CEO of Intent HQ, a well-funded British company building Customer AI. Customer AI starts with creating a human first representation of each customer (their behaviours, interests and motivations) and then uses cutting edge AI to individually predict customer behaviour.
Customers like Telefonica O2 are using this to move from “customer centric” to “human centric”, creating a data driven culture that helps them to know who to market to, create more helpful service interactions, shape strategy and automate customer predictions. Intent HQ has raised £26 M. from Pula Media and technology Limited, edge Performance VCT plc and Oxford Capital Partners.
Jonathan has spent his life creating, leading and investing in early stage and growth technology ventures. After helping sell a German imaging business to Olympus, he co-founded a small investment funds which created and financed Humotion – a company that measures the quality of human motion (at 3 000 measurements a second) for world class athletes and medical rehabilitation.
He started his career at Loyalty agency Blacksun Plc, helped build and commercialise WhiteLight Systems from the start (the world’s first relational OLAP system), turnaround Global Workplace (Services to Top 30 Global Business Schools -sold), grow eTalentworks internationally (Tech talent management – floated), and develop Rights Marketing (Media Futures & Web based entertainment formats – sold).
He has an MBA from IESE Business School.
