he was running CAD operation at a leading Swiss manufacturing company.
He provides a wealth of expertise in server consolidation and server centralization which he sold and implemented for many Fortune 500 customers in various verticals (financial industries, manufacturing, whole sale).
He sold and implemented SaaS architectures based on private cloud computing environments and storage clouds.
Calculated and presented business case for a major VDI environment on TCO basis. Negotiated contracts for such environment (SLAs, commercials, asset and staff transfer) with customer and vendors.
Sold and implemented many complete (desktop, network, data centre) outsourcings
During his career Thomas lived for almost 4 years in the US (Chicago) were he successfully sold and implemented ICT and System integration outsourcings
Thomas was running the account CTO function for a German Financial Asset managing Corporation
In 2013 Thomas was successfully creating the PaaS business for T-Systems
Early 2016 Thomas was also tasked to take the helm for the Big Data business T-Systems on top of his PaaS responsibility
In 2017 this business has doubled in revenue every year over 3 years
2018 was another successful year as the MCS PaaS team has grown to over 120 employees globally
In 2019 Thomas was tasked with ramping up the Edge Computing business for T-Systems in collaboration the 5G initiative of DTAG
