CEO at Nu Quantum

Dr Carmen Palacios Berraquero is the Chief Executive of Nu Quantum Ltd, founded the company in late 2018, and has since raised several million pounds in financing from a stellar portfolio of investors, in addition to having designed and been awarded several high-profile government projects in collaboration with over 40 industrial and academic partners across the UK. Carmen is the inventor of the technology underlying the single-photon sources commercialised by Nu Quantum, product of her PhD research carried out at the Cavendish Laboratory. She is now leading the growth of the company, building a world-class multi-disciplinary team in Cambridge.
