Denise Ruffner

Denise Ruffner has been Chief Business Officer of Cambridge Quantum Computing since Sept 2019, where she is responsible for all customer facing engagements including business development and technical marketing. She leads a team of with deep technical expertise in quantum computing with additional expertise in biology, chemistry, finance, machine learning and high performance computing. Denise was born and raised in Southern California and has a MS in Neurobiology and Genomics from the University of Pittsburgh. Her career spans 18 years at IBM where she started both the IBM Q Startup program and the IBM Q Ambassador program for the US and Asia. She has won many career and sales awards and leads the Women in Quantum and OneQuantum.org organizations.
