Anand DandekarGlobal Head- Next Generation Networks Practice at Tata Communications Transformation Services
Anand Dandekar is heading Next generation Networks (NGN) Practice at Tata Communications Transformation Services (TCTS). He is focusing on developing next generation skills and services to support diverse expertise required by various CSPs and DSPs across the globe.
Anand brings over two decades of experience spanning technical, operations, projects, and pre-sales roles in the telecommunications industry. After working with few start-up ISP organisations during late 90s, Anand moved into Tata Communications in 2000 to support ISP business and was instrumental in rolling out first corporate B2B network infrastructure across India. He was one of the key design architects to work on the first Metro E network for India. He played various roles to incubate MPLS based VPN products and also spearheaded first few multilocation, multiservice VPN networks for India’s biggest enterprises. He has led a team to rollout Broadband network and managed business operations with a first distributed DSL architecture for B2C.
Anand has also worked as a Presales lead in Managed Services domain & developed solutions for key customer accounts in Middle East, Part of Europe and APAC regions. He spent significant amount of time to create a state-of-the-art delivery capability to build a world class network infrastructure.
Anand has earned a MBA degree in Telecom. He is Microsoft Certified Engineer from 2000 and is also certified expert for Digital Maturity Model (TM Forum) and Frameworx (TM Forum & ITIL).
