Claus Pedersen is Vice President of Telco Infrastructure Solutions within the Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) Hybrid IT Group. 

As a technology industry visionary, Claus links IT infrastructure innovation with Telco business requirements in order to accelerate network evolution and time to value for communications service providers worldwide.

Within HPE Claus has responsibility for go-to-market strategy, product development, and partnership initiatives that enable effective application of IT industry innovations within communications service provider infrastructure. Claus’ mandate is to maintain HPE’s market leadership in the telecommunications infrastructure segment by remaining at the forefront of rapidly changing market trends and growth opportunities.

Prior to HPE’s separation from Hewlett-Packard Company (HP), Claus held leadership positions within HP’s Communications, Media and Entertainment segment where he spearheaded long-term strategy and established key go-to-market alliances with telecom network equipment providers.  Before that, Claus played an integral role in HP’s breakthrough introduction of industry standard servers designed to support telecommunications workloads and enable Network Functions Virtualization Infrastructure (NFVI) solutions.

Over the earlier part of his 30 year career with HP and HPE, Claus held numerous business development leadership roles with assignments in Server, Storage, and Software groups.  Claus also held management positions within HP Laboratories where he was the recipient of multiple patents.  

Claus earned a Master of Computer Science degree from Aarhus University in Denmark.  He currently resides in Grenoble, France.
