Walter Zielinski has been working for Huawei core network since 2010. He is the senior director with Huawei Cloud Core Networks and he is involved in the basic network research, 4/5G solution design, and 2/3G sunset planning. He has deployed networks in US, Europe and Middle East and has direct and practical experience with 2/3/4G core networks. During his career he has served as the network auditor, advised in the matters of M&A and capital investments. Prior to joining Huawei (1993-2010) he has assumed the roles of CTO, head of R&D, EMEA product management director, new product introduction manager and that of programmer working for Nortel, and one of current Ericsson units. Walter holds degree from Electrical Engineering and Master’s Degree in Molecular Bio-engineering. Now, he is involved in the research and excited about the fundamental advances in the co-algebraic and sub-symbolic methods and foresees the major breakthroughs which will transform the communication industries including the voice services.
