Dr. Nathan Kundtz is the founder and Chief Executive Officer and President of Kymeta Corporation. Kymeta has been recognized for its disruptive antenna technology and communications services that will make mobile communications more accessible and secure the world over. In the last four years, Dr. Kundtz and his team at Kymeta have closed $200 million in funding and developed a thinner, flatter, lighter satellite antenna technology; making it feasible to connect anything that moves to high speed, high bandwidth satellite networks like never before.
For his work at Kymeta, Dr. Kundtz has been recognized as a 2016 LinkedIn Next Wave professional and earned the 2016 2b AHEAD Innovators Award during the 15th Annual 2b AHEAD ThinkTank Future Congress. This award was closely preceded by the Frost & Sullivan 2016 New Product Innovation Award. The company has also been recognized as a Fierce 15 Most Interesting Startups in Technology, an SSPI Rising Five, a Fast Company 10 Most Innovative Companies in Space, a CNBC Disruptor, a FiReStarter by Strategic News Network and a top 50 MIT Technology Review Disruptive Company.
Dr. Kundtz has a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and Ph.D. in Physics from Duke University. He has amassed more than 40 patents and patent applications as well as over 30 peer reviewed publications. His award-winning doctoral research at Duke provided the basis upon which Kymeta would later be founded.
