Mr. Chen is President of the Optical Business Product Line. He is responsible for Huawei's optical business from end to end, including strategy, R&D, marketing, service, and supply. He takes charge of the transformation and evolution direction of the optical business, builds the leading competitiveness, and take responsibility for the commercial success of the optical industry.

Since joining Huawei in the year 2000, Mr. Chen has taken on various management roles in the company, including President of Marketing & Solution Sales Department of Enterprise BG, President of Enterprise BG Commercial & Distribution Business Department, Marketing Director of Data Communications Product Line, Director of Network Strategy & Business Development Department, General Manager of Microwave Domain, and Director of Transmission Network Product Line. Mr. Chen also served as Director of the Latin America Network Marketing and Solution Sales Department, leading marketing and sales strategies in Latin America.

Mr. Chen has extensive experience in strategic planning, marketing, and product and solution sales, and product R&D in the carrier and government and enterprise markets, with fourteen years in research and development, four years in strategy and marketing, and five years in sales.
