Educated at the University of Chicago, and Harvard, Kunbi’s work career spanned almost 19 years of strategy consulting and banking advisory work with some of the world’s leading companies including PricewaterhouseCoopers, McKinsey, and Ecobank (the largest Pan African Bank). After leaving traditional employment, Kunbi co-founded Refitok International, and has built it into one of the largest independent money remittance company serving the North America to West African Corridor with an estimated $350 million in transfers facilitated on their platform since inception in 2012. Kunbi founded Alpha Fortress in 2016 to bring blockchain innovation to the remittance & payments space.
