Babacar BIRANE started his entrepreneurial journey at the age of 14 while he was student the military school of Charles NTCHORERE (Saint Louis). Graduated from the School of economic engineering (Grenoble), Babacar started his professional career as a junior supply chain manager at Schneider Electric and then as junior PMO for engineering resources management. 2013, Babacar returns to Senegal to cofound CONCREE in 2014, the first virtual incubator in its kind in Africa. In only 3 years, CONCREE has helped entrepreneurs go from zero to billions of sales. In 2017, Babacar and his partners designed and launched the world’s first ERM (Entrepreneur Relationship Management) SaaS (Software as a Service) with customer across Senegal, United States, Cameroon, Brazil, Bissau Guinea, Gambia.
Upon his entrepreneurial endeavor, Babacar is an innovation and entrepreneurship consultant for different organizations (Shops Plus/USAID, Data pop alliance, SNV, GIZ).
Strong advocate of the Senegalese entrepreneurial ecosystem, Babacar is a 2016 Mandela Washington Fellow.
