Profile

Stefanus is a Professional Electronic Engineer with more than 15 years of experience on International Telco consulting projects. His focus is on optical fibre network engineering, both in the core, metro and access. He has led and trained several engineering teams in FTTH design both in Europe, Middle East and Africa. He is a Certified Fibre to the Home Professional (CFHP) from FTTH Council North America. He has spoken at three of their FTTH conferences about innovative solutions for future FTTH networks. In the last 15 years he has successfully delivered multiple International Telco projects including:

  • FTTH (GPON) and DWDM planning and design
  • Technology Strategy
  • Technical Due Diligence (MNO & FibreCos)
  • Technical business cases (CAPEX and OPEX) planning and modelling
  • ICT Regulatory support
  • Developing fibre maintenance contracts
  • GIS based planning
  • Network Audits
  • Smart & Dynamic CAPEX planning

Currently he enjoy the challenge of helping Technology, Media and Telecommunication companies understand the current and new technologies as well as support them with the effect these new technologies has on their operations. This includes developing strategies for businesses to help with their operational transformation process to achieve business strategy more efficiently. He has a strong interest in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Blockchain, IoT, Open Architecture, Smart Cities, Digital Transformation, SDN/NFV, Telco cloud, 5G, Edge Computing and the future of Telco in Africa.
