Vikas Khera is the Director for 5G Transport for emerging radio access network (RAN) solutions. In this role, he works with operators to define the best fronthaul and backhaul transport solutions for 5G mobile networks, varying from D-RAN, C-RAN and E-RAN architectures. Vikas is part of the Network Equipment Products team which develops innovative & profitable network solutions for Ericsson's North American customers.

Prior to his current role, Vikas served as Head of Transport for India Market. In his 27 years of career, Vikas has worked at various technical and management roles in India, UK and USA.

Vikas did his Engineering in electronics from YMCAIE, India and post-graduation from University of Leicester UK.
