Practice Leader: Fixed and Mobile Infrastructure at Omdia

Daryl covers the wireless infrastructure space at Omdia, with a primary focus on the radio access network (RAN). His research primarily covers the vendor community and how operators are using mobile solutions coming from the vendors. As Practice Leader, he manages the team that is responsible for fixed and mobile infrastructure research.

With more than 20 years of industry analyst experience, Daryl has helped technology vendors developing use cases for new products, identifying technology trends, and providing market sizing and forecasts. He regularly speaks at industry and vendor events. He also comments on mergers, acquisitions, new product announcements, and market developments for trade publications.

Prior to joining Omdia (formerly Ovum) in September 2011, he held similar positions at Current Analysis and In-Stat. Daryl also worked at telecommunications service provider, Cable & Wireless USA, where he was a member of the market and competitive intelligence team.

Daryl has a Bachelor of Science in marketing management from Virginia Tech.
