Assistant Director of Radio Access Technology for the Ooredoo Group overseeing the evolution of all of Ooredoo’s Mobile Networks towards 4G and 5G.
Over 20 years industry experience in Mobile Telecommunications and have worked for a number of operators and vendors around the globe.

During my career, I have been responsible for a number of industry firsts:

• The first 4G/5G DSS spectrum sharing in a Commercial Network in Qatar with Ooredoo, 2020

• The first 5G Commercial Network in Qatar with Ooredoo, 2018

• The first 4G network in Qatar with Ooredoo, 2011

• The first WiMax network in Oman with Nawras, 2009

• The first 3G HSPA+ network in Oman with Nawras, 2008

• The first 3G network in K.S.A with STC, 2006

• The first 2G EDGE enabled Data network in UK with Orange, 2003
