Lei Zhong is a Senior Researcher and Project Manager at Toyota Motor Corporation and leads the research and standardization of future network and computing infrastructure architecture for connected vehicles. He serves as a Toyota delegate in several related standardization organizations such as AECC and 3GPP. His current focus is on connected vehicles, edge computing, proximity communications and Big Data analytics. In the past he has been with the National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT), National Institute of Informatics (NII) and The University of Tokyo.
Lei Zhong received his Ph. D. from The Graduate University for Advanced Studies, Japan, in 2011.
