Majid Iqbal holds a Commercial Product Management role in Telia Company Group, one of the key responsibilities at the moment is evolution to a 5G Standalone Core System across our footprint.

After more than 20 years in the Telecom Industry, he has extensive experience as both System and Business Owner handling product innovation, strategy, planning, development, operation and partnership management. He has experience both from Commercial and Technical side of the Telecom Business. Prior to joining Telia Company Majid was with GSM Association for five years working on Global industry initiatives.

He completed his degree from Norwegian Business School and is finalizing his Executive Master’s degree in Technology Management from Norwegian University of Science and Technology.
