After almost a decade practising as a dental surgeon internationally, Dr Shamim Mousavi embarked on her current role as Healthcare Innovation Lead for AWTG with a focus on developing targeted healthcare technology solutions within multiple sectors. Within her role, she has led the development of Connected Assistive Living Technologies and Internet of Medical Things with a particular focus on the needs of patients with Dementia. She has further assisted in the strategic role out of immersive learning within the health industry with a focus on patient and practitioner education to facilitate more efficient learning opportunities. Dr Shamim Mousavi’s particular remit within AWTG has been to create Innovative Health Technologies and their adoption strategies to enhance global Healthcare delivery.
