Martin is a Director for the Innovation Fund, an arm of the GSMA that supports innovative digital solutions with positive socio-economic impact in low and middle-income countries through funding and Technical Assistance. The fund has supported over 100 start-ups and SMEs to the tune of £17M, with these companies raising over £560M in follow-on funding whilst impacting over 35 million lives.

Martin joined the GSMA in 2016, before which he worked at Hewlett Packard Enterprises as the Distribution Business Manager for East, West and Southern Africa. He’s also worked at Symantec Corporation as Regional Business Development Manager for East and Francophone Africa. Martin worked at Airtel Africa as a Group Product Marketing Specialist.

He holds a B.Sc. International Business Administration from United States International University and an MBA in Global Business Management from the same Institution.
