Solomon is the Head, Innovation [Corporate Transformation] at WEMA Bank & ALATByWEMA [Nigeria’s first fully deigital bank]. Solomon is a results-driven manager, well-versed in leading teams and driving business transformation, leveraging expertise in building customer-centric technology products.
Solomon graduated with a BSc in Political Science and Public Administration and an MBA, with a focus on Strategy from Heriot University, Edinburgh Business School, United Kingdom.
Solomon was an Analyst, Innovation, Digital Enablement and Analytics at Standard Bank Group where he drove digital strategy execution by managing product development from conceptualization to delivery to customers; leading design thinking training and workshops; driving partnership engagements with the technology ecosystem and facilitating digital emersion sessions to boost the digital knowledge quotient within the organization.
Prior to working at Standard Bank, Solomon worked as the Business Transformation Lead with an EDTech outfit and managed the Project Management and Change Management arm of the business. Solomon started his active career in the Banking Industry in 2015 and has worked in diverse roles across personal and business banking, IT Project management, Portfolio Management, Data Analysis, Strategy, Business Analysis and Executive Management.
He is an Author of three books, multiple TEDx speaker and In 2021, he was recognized by YNaija as one of the top 50 Young Nigerians to look out for. Asides his job as an Innovation Manager, he is a Nominee of the Prestigious Future Award Prize for Activism and Advocacy, through his work across Africa with Boys Quarters Africa [Boy-Child Reformation Initiative]
