The VIP Program is excellent. The communication throughout was great. Program was very well balanced It is pity one can’t attend everything as the range of speakers and events is enormous. The App was very useful and really helped in pre-planning the event. The wine tasting event was really a highlight and the networking opportunities gained there were superb. Most of us attendees from that event formed a strong bond and attended many events as a group sharing experiences and recommending experiences and speakers worthwhile listening to. All in all, a great event. Well planned well executed. Kasia and her team were absolutely first class.

As a government employee and a citizen residing in the African continent I got to learn about the high level of digital innovation and creativity in other African countries. The case studies that were demonstrated left us with or jaws hanging. What was amazing was to know that those countries that are leading in the digital space have limited resources and infrastructure compared to South Africa. They have come up with various ways of providing internet connectivity in the villages that are extremely disadvantaged and marginalized. On the other hand, I got the opportunity to interact and engage with colleagues from other spheres of our government and I learnt a lot. I will definitely register again.

It was my first time attending the event and it was an eye opener to me. Topics discussed were relevant in the African context as well as all workplaces. It was fulfilling to me listening to the speakers speaking about what I term as workplace challenges which industry and organisations are faced with. The importance of innovation became prevalent. I am able to draw lessons and apply them at work place. I am able to seat in meetings and provide input necessary to the current infrastructure and consequences to follow if no maintenance upgrade are planned. I am able to provide and write staff papers necessary for successful operations, training, development and required resources. In the current hierarchy of command, I am able to advice on necessary infrastructure and resources required to sustain capabilities. I am aware that industries have prioritised infrastructure upgrades and so are defences in the African Battlespace. The importance of Innovate or Die became prevalent!
