YOUR STAND - SPACE ONLY
You will be provided with a space on the exhibition floor only. It is your responsibility to utilize and build in this space. Please check your contract for the exact size of your floor space and plan accordingly. What next?
1. Review the STEP-BY-STEP PROCESS (CLICK HERE) for signing off stands.
2. You will be required to provide detailed stand plans for your space that adhere to the STAND BUILD REGULATIONS (CLICK HERE)
3. Please complete the HEALTH & SAFETY PACK (CLICK HERE)
4. Please read the INFORMA RULES AND REGULATIONS HANDBOOK(CLICK HERE) thoroughly before starting the design.

Please submit all H&S, design documents and order forms for all space only stands by email to your logistics contact by Friday 27 September 2019
REMINDER: Once submitted should your design be classed as complex you will be expected to provide structural calculations for your stand.

All orders are to be confirmed & paid for in full, 5 working days prior to the Event.
All exact deadlines for service orders are on the forms, please complete by the deadline in order to finalize your order and avoid any surcharges. Late orders may receive a charge of up to 20%.
CTICC - CONTRACTORS & ACCESS
Please note that the CTICC have recently changed processes for suppliers to gain access to the space.
1. Please see the Access Instructions and Access Request Form
2. Print and complete the Access Request Form (Please note that all suppliers involved in the build up will need to fill in the form)
3. Scan and email the Access Request Form to firstname.lastname@example.org
Kindly note that should the above not be done prior to your build up day, you will be required to attend an induction presentation upon arrival.
CTICC 2- IMPORTANT
The CTICC 2 marshaling yard is much smaller compared to CTICC 1, therefore for build-up and breakdown all small vehicles must park at P5. All larger vehicles will be allocated one hour each to offload at the CTICC 2 then proceed to park at the CTICC 1 marshaling yard. Due to the space, we cannot afford to have vehicles parked at the CTICC 2 marshalling yard due to traffic and major delays.

Breakdown will be from 6pm on Thursday 14th November. The time in which you need to vacate the hall is dependent on your location on the floor; please see times below. If you have any doubt as to which Hall you are in, please view the floorplan or speak to an Informa member of staff on site.
Halls 1, 5, 6 & 7: must vacate by Midnight Thursday 14th Nov

VISIT CONNECT - LEAD RETRIEVAL
By using Visit Connect lead capture, exhibitors can:
- Set sales leads targets, review progress live, in real-time, from the exhibition floor.

As part of your package, we have included a marketing toolkit hosted by Feathr in order to promote your presence at AfricaCom to your clients.
Within the toolkit, you will find personalised banners, email templates and landing pages to include in your communications, social media, websites and anywhere visible to your network.
All collateral will include your logo, company name and stand number (if applicable).

DELIVERIES & FREIGHT
We strongly recommend that you use the Official AfricaCom Freight handler Exhibition Freighting GSM Ltd. Informa Tech cannot be held responsible for the shipping of any equipment nor are they responsible for the collection and receipt of any deliveries.

Parking at the CTICC is never a problem, with over 1 400 secure, easily accessible on-site parking bays available to visitors.
- The 1061 bays on P1 are accessed via the Buitengracht or Walter Sisulu Avenue/Long Street entrance and require a short walk across Convention Square to enter the CTICC 1.
- The 362 bays on P3 are situated in the CTICC 1 basement.
- The 174 bays on P5 are situated in the CTICC 2 basement.
Parking is not included in the venue rental, and guests are required to use the convenient pay-on-foot parking ticket kiosks to pay for their parking.

As per the CTICC Client Manual, private wireless routers, access points or broadcasts, i.e. any IEEE 802.11 wireless broadcasts, are not permitted within the CTICC. Private wireless networks are often unstable and do not function as intended during events. This is due to the myriad competing and overlapping wireless networks operating in close proximity to each other. The more wireless networks in operation, the more interference is generated resulting in a less stable wireless connection for all parties. In many cases, internet connectivity will not be possible at all via a wireless connection. It is for this reason that CTICC reserves the right to cease any Non-CTICC wireless networks in order to mitigate wireless interference in the venue.
In order to go some way to mitigate wireless interference, devices used to connect to CTICC’s wireless services must be 5GHz frequency band compatible. While 5GHz compatibility will not guarantee wireless access, it will improve the chances of achieving connectivity.
Please note that the CTICC always advise that event critical services, e.g. those for demonstrations or presentations use, are provided as a dedicated, hard wired connection. This will ensure that there is no interruption to internet connectivity, as would be the risk with a wireless internet service.

Participants asked to stop any behavior are expected to comply immediately. If a participant or sponsor engages in behavior that violates this code of conduct, Informa Tech staff may take action they deem appropriate, including warning the offender or expulsion from the event with no refund.
