Africa Data Centres

Africa Data Centres is the largest network of carrier- and vendor-neutral, interconnected data centre facilities. We bring leading cloud service providers, carriers and enterprises the colocation services they need to meet the growing demand for cloud-based services in the region. Moreover, our international experience in the pan-African market makes us the most trusted partner for rapid and secure communications and interconnections across the continent.
Africa Data Centres is part of the Cassava Technologies Group of companies, a leading communications solution provider spanning 13 countries primarily in eastern, southern and south Africa. Africa Data Centres was incorporated into the group 2019, although we have operated colocation data centres as part of Neotel and Liquid Telecom since 2009.

All our data centres are purpose-built to Tier III standards, are carrier-neutral and resilient, and have been designed, built and operated to the highest standards, to provide businesses across Africa with peace-of-mind, irrespective of the scale of their requirement. Our facilities are located in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Nairobi, and Lagos, with massive expansion plans to build a further 10, state-of-the-art facilities across Africa. Our data centres are interconnected by multiple networks which provide regional and international reach for customers, enabling businesses to have the control and flexibility they need when deciding where to host and back-up their data.

All our facilities are owned and operated entirely by us, meaning the physical and digital security of customers’ data and transactional computer processing are our top priority. In fact, our facilities in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Nairobi are ISO 27001 certified, complying with high international information security management standards, and are compliant with PCI DSS too, the global information security standard set by the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council to help control and minimise points of risk to fraud or compromise of sensitive information.
