SENTECH derives its mandate from legislation, particularly the SENTECH Act and the Electronic Communications’ Act (ECA).

Provision of video and audio content infrastructure and platforms to content providers in South Africa and Africa through DTH, DTT, SENTECH Apps, Set-Top-Boxes (AI enabled)and 5G broadcasting).

Facility leasing and co-location on our mast will also continue. Providing Managed infrastructure of both Passive and active infrastructure solutions with value added services for customers.

Connecting households, clinics schools and communities in South Africa through Satellite (VSAT), Fixed Wireless, 5G, Cloud services.

Data Centre Infrastructure Provider

SENTECH currently offers tier 2 data centre services for customers and is in the process of upgrading to a tier 3 datacentre to offer enterprise type cloud and infrastructure hosting services.

Satellite Operations

As a Communication Satellite provider for broadband and broadband connectivity for South Africa and Africa, SENTECH is working on the development of the Pan African satellite.
