Beluga Restaurant
Beluga considers itself an institution in Cape Town, and one that should not be missed. The restaurant is nestled in The Foundry, a century old art-deco setting that resembles a trendy New York style loft. The venue boasts a vibrant bar, sunny courtyard, cosy dining area, worldly wine attic and exclusive whisky lounge.
The menu is a Euro-Asian Fusion style with the finest ingredients and aims to offer dishes for everyone's individual preferences.
Beluga has something for everyone, whether its sumptuous sushi, classic cocktails, wonderful wines, worldly whiskies, delicious dim-sum or desserts.

Cape Point Funicular: 'The Flying Dutchman'
Aptly named after the magnificent vessel that met its end at the Cape of Good Hope after a battle against the elements, the Flying Dutchman Funicular is a cable drawn railway that allows visitors a comfortable and easy way of reaching Cape Point. From the bottom station, you will journey through dense foliage and fynbos to the upper lighthouse.
At the lighthouse on the summit, you will be rewarded with simply breath-taking views of the Atlantic Ocean. The most recommended time to visit is at sunrise or sunset where the landscape turns into a surreal vista of beauty and charm. While it is reasonably far out from the city centre, there is so much to see along the way. Truly a drive to savour!
Offer: R60 to take the ride (20% discount).
Grub & Vine
Grub & Vine has been hailed as one of the top restaurants in Cape Town, and boasts a menu providing beautifully prepared and executed dishes with none of the pomp that often accompanies upscale dining experiences.
This characterful and compact bistro is decked out with avian prints, rattan chairs and atmospheric hanging lights, and serves up refined bistro-style fare, in a relaxed, contemporary space. The seasonal menu changes regularly and the wine list features some of South Africa’s most respected producers.

The Cape Gallery
The Cape Gallery at 60 Church Street is set in the heart of the old city off the Church Street walking mall, flanked by the colourful Georgian and Dutch facades built by the 18th and 19th century settlers. Behind these facades are some of the oldest and prestigious galleries, antique shops, and auction houses in Cape Town.
Central to the tradition of South African painting is the abiding love of the land. Early Cape painters were 'reporters' who described the topography, flora and fauna of this fascinating land, a conservative approach which is still favoured by the gallery's clients today.
Recently the emergence of the vibrant street art has added an essentially African character to the work on display.

"This is a place where we raise our glasses to foolish renegades, adventurous idiots and all the people who refuse to live by the rules of conformity."
The Village Idiot's menu is a melting pot of traditional and modern South African cultures, smashed together with loads of flavour.
