Jon has over 25 years of experience in the Technology industry in Product Management, Consulting, Sales, Analyst and Marketing roles. In his current Product Management role, he is responsible for setting the strategy, defining new products and the commercial success of the Semiconductor, Displays and Consumer Devices portfolios.

Previously, when in the IHS Markit Technology Consulting role (before Informa purchased them), he was responsible for business development in Asia through increasing the range of projects and number of customers served through the Technology analysts.

Prior to the Consulting role, he was responsible for an EMEA sales team driving new business into key accounts in the Hi-Tech sector most notably into semiconductor and displays companies. He started his time at IHS Markit as a Principal Analyst and Subject Matter Expert in the semiconductor sector.

Prior to joining IHS Markit, Jon was VP Technical Marketing at Avnet Memec (a global Component Distribution company) and was responsible for setting the strategy and Technology direction for the company through working closely with existing partners and fostering new partnerships to strengthen the product portfolio. He worked at Avnet Memec for 16 years.
