Brian Danfield currently leads the 5G commercialization plan for the Verizon Consumer Group. He works closely with various business leaders—including strategy, network, products, marketing, sales, customer service, finance and digital—to ensure the 5G commercial model rollout reaches the full market potential. Verizon’s leadership in 5G includes achieving the world’s first commercial launches of fixed wireless access and mobility.
Throughout his tenure with the company, he has held a variety of leadership roles, including vice president of Product Management and Go-to-Market Operations in Verizon’s Product & New Business organization as well as vice president of National Sales Operations for Verizon Wireless. He also served as president of the Southwest Region for Verizon Wireless. He began his career with Verizon in 1997 as a senior financial analyst in Tempe, Arizona.
Prior to joining Verizon, Brian held positions in credit policy and operations, call center management, and financial analysis for the Zale Corporation in Irving, TX and Tempe, AZ.
Brian earned both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.
