Ovi Biris is the Managing Director and Consultant at Fiberlux Services, a company offering consultancy services in the telecom / ISP sector.

Previously, he was responsible for the design and deployment initiative with Ting with respect to FTTx builds in markets across the US. Ovi worked on finding and adapting the best build methods for fiber to the premises to fit the needs and specific requirements of local markets. Prior to this, Ovi worked in the competitive Canadian ISP industry. His past roles included responsibilities in operations, project management for building and relocating data centers and support centers, creating new value-added services for internet clients, as well as fostering competition at the wholesale level for fiber-to-the-node broadband services.

Ovi brings a wealth of 25 years of knowledge and experience in the telecom / ISP industry. He holds an engineering degree in Telecommunications and Electronics from the Polytechnic University of Timisoara, Romania.
