Tom is a research analyst in Omdia’s Carrier Network Software team, aiding clients by creating analyses, presenting data and insights, and offering strategic recommendations. Tom’s main carrier network topic areas include NFV, Carrier SDN, uCPE, cloud-native evolution, and edge computing software.

Tom joined Omdia in August 2021, with prior experience working with data and analytics as the founder of an EdTech startup. Tom’s previous work also encompassed delivering complicated topics to clients and students as clear, actionable insights. Tom looks forward to discussing and working alongside industry leaders in areas including cloud-native evolution, network automation, and telco partner evolution.

Tom holds a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in psychology from the University of Birmingham.
