Peter is responsible for driving innovation programmes to advance the enterprise value of technology. A pioneer of SGX’s successful Co-location business, Peter led several industry-first initiatives, including one of the first cloud-based applications in financial services. He also architected the current derivatives pre-trade risk management system and market connectivity models. A member of several ISO Technical Committees, Peter is one of the key architects of the Monetary Authority of Singapore’s Project Ubin, a central bank vanguard initiative to explore the use of DLT in Capital Markets. He also heads SGX’s FinTech collaboration with leading industry partners.

Prior to SGX, Peter was an IBM campus hire where he joined as a software engineer, working on assignments in Singapore, the United States and Europe. Peter holds a B.Eng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from the National University of Singapore, and is active in the startup community as a sponsor and an advisor.
