He is a customer-focused IT professional and an expert in leading and contributing to projects designed to enhance system and facility availability. Barbour has been acknowledged for his capacity to tackle challenging issues, analyze viable alternatives, provide innovative solutions, and most of all lead teams to accomplish goals and support customers and community. He is a life-long learner embracing knowledge as a tool to improved problem-solving effectiveness to overcome tough technical and leadership challenges. His core competencies include security, networking, systems administration, operations, project management, communication, process improvement, and leadership of which he has held positions at Lowe’s Home Improvement in each of these disciplines.

Janna Luther Connor has more than 29 years of experience within the Facilities Management realm, with specialties in project management, space and move management, tenant management, and data center management. Janna’s career started out within the design/construction/architecture fields with a bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech University. She currently manages all raised floor areas within HCSC / Blue Cross Blue Shield’s Data Centers and Control Rooms. Janna has been active in several boards including USGBC (President), Texas Tech University Advisory Board, Collin College Advisory Board, and AFCOM – Dallas Fort Worth Chapter (President).

With 30 years of experience in the Data Center industry, Tad Davies leads teams and engagements that ensure clients gain the most value from their IT and data center investments and that they are congruent with business needs. Tad leads Bick’s Consulting Services practice, which advises clients regarding Business Centric strategies such as consolidation, provider selection, and build vs. buy as well as Facility Centric strategies including risk assessments, programming, and owner’s representation.
Tad has been involved with AFCOM for over 20 years, and has attended all Data Center World Conferences during that time. Tad is a member of the Data Center Institute Board. He was born in Melbourne, Australia and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from Tulane University’s School of Business.

Hector Diaz is a senior business leader with over 15 years’ experience designing, deploying, and operating mission critical infrastructure. He is an industry expert on the strategic allocation of capital, sorting through data center expand/build/buy/lease options. He is currently employed at Easter-Owens Electric Co. holding the title of Managing Director - Mission Critical Sector. Previous employers include CBRE, Oracle, Keysight Technologies, and HP. As a Director at Oracle he provided capacity planning and decision support for capital investments in infrastructure covering over a million square feet of data center space. Hector has extensive data center management experience including overseeing global hosting operations and supporting moves and consolidations related to mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
Hector was born in Spain and raised in Puerto Rico, where he got an engineering degree from the University of Puerto Rico. He has lived in San Juan, Boston, Saudi Arabia, Dallas, and Denver.

Christine Ficke has been in her role as Manager for National Key Partners throughout North America since March of 2019. She is responsible for providing comprehensive support to CommScope's largest National Partners, leveraging the support of the CommScope organization to help these important partners reach lofty goals.
Prior to that, her role was the exclusive WESCO Account Manager on the Global Partner Organization for CommScope, since January 2016. She was responsible for supporting the channel throughout North America and Canada for WESCO. Christine has been with CommScope since December of 2011. Prior to the WESCO Account Manager role she held the position of Account Manager in the Central Texas Market.
Carrie Goetz has more than 35 years of global experience designing, running and auditing IT departments, data centers and working with intelligent building infrastructures. Fostering women in tech, StrategITcom is founded with a charter to assure that 50% of employees are women and 50% of all partner referrals will go to women owned enterprises of all ethnicities.
She is an international keynote speaker and is published in 69 countries in over 250 publications. She holds an honorary doctorate in Mission Critical Operations, RCDD/NTS, CNID, CDCP, CSM-Agile, AWS CCP and is a 2nd degree Master Infrastructure Mason with over 40 certifications throughout her career. She is on the WIMCO national education committee and a long-time participant in 7x24 Exchange, AFCOM and Data Center Institute board of advisors, Mission Critical Advisory Board, Cnet Technical Curriculum Advisory Board, Vice Chairwoman and Liaison for STEM for AATCU, a member of WIMCO, BICSI and champions women in STEM. She holds one telecommunications patent and has submitted two others.

Kevin Kent is the CEO and founder of Critical Facilities Efficiency Solutions, a consultancy dedicated to optimizing energy usage and sustainability in data centers and mission critical facilities. He is recently retired from his role as data center operations manager of The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. He is a climate reality leader and an international keynote speaker on climate change and data center energy efficiency. He is also a board member of the AFCOM Data Center Institute.
Senior Account Manager
Lori Murphy has been with Dataspan for 17 years as a Sr. Account Manager and has been in the technology industry for 38 years covering San Antonio, Austin and South Texas. Her expertise is in developing new business, working with National Accounts, Enterprise Accounts, Small Business as well as Government to help clients meet their requirements and the ever changing demands of the data center and networking environment. Cultivating strong customer relationships, maintaining a strong customer base and continuing to grow in the technology industry. She is a proud San Antonian and truly enjoys her city. She assisted in the startup of the South Texas Chapter of AFCOM and has been on the Board as Director of Membership since its conception in 2008.

John Parker is a Senior Data Center Operations Management professional with an MBA and over 25 years of IT experience in 4 industries (Healthcare, Pharmaceuticals, Banking, and Software Development). Currently John manages Global Data Center Operations and Disaster Recovery at Esri. Strengths are Leadership and mentoring managers, building and maintaining Global Data Center Operations and NOC’s, Facilities and Information Technology support teams. Recent accomplishments include reconditioning legacy data centers, collocation relocating and build outs, implementing hybrid data center models and implementing ITIL Service Delivery initiatives for Incident, Problem and Change Management.
Professionally he resides on the Data Center Institute Board of Directors, current President of 7x24 Exchange International of Southern California chapter, and former President of local AFCOM chapters in North Carolina (2000-2006) and Southern California (2007-2015).

Prior to that, he was a general-assignment newspaper reporter in the San Francisco Bay Area after having graduated from San Francisco State University with a degree in journalism.
