About 10 years spent in telecommunications, starting from mobile networks going ahead in some fixed and convergent deployments. I have 10 years hands on experience in standardization (ETSI, 3GPP), following the design of 4G from the beginning, until the ongoing definition of 5G. Actually I’ m the 3GPP SA1 delegates on behalf of TIM since 2008. My expertise includes 4G CN deployments, IMS mobile and fixed, IP and VOLTE interconnection scenarios, unified subscriber and database network deployments. I am currently focusing on 5G pre-commercial activities and acceleration plans with trials, technology credibility test and partnership with municipalities in Italy for 5G early adoption projects in particular for the CN aspects of the 5G Turin Project.
