Waseem Haider is a Principal Analyst at TechInsights’ Telecoms Strategies Group, where he leads the Enterprise & IoT, Telecoms Networking, and Communications Semiconductor market research service. Waseem worked on both sides of the table – analyst houses and vendors, covering multiple subject areas, in his 15+ years of being in the telecom industry. Prior to joining TechInsights, Waseem worked for analyst companies - MTN Consulting and Dataxis covering technology and enterprise markets for telecoms. Before that, Waseem worked for technology vendors Orga Systems GmbH (now Optiva) and Motorola Solutions in their Strategy and Market/Competitive Intelligence function, where he led multiple strategic projects sponsored by CxOs and department heads, on technology roadmaps, product enhancement, market entry and go-to-market strategies, among others. Waseem speaks English and German fluently besides Hindi his mother tongue and is based in Berlin, Germany. An avid reader and mentor, Waseem also is a visiting lecturer and teaches Digital Transformation (DX) to Master and Bachelor students at Gisma University of Applied Sciences in Potsdam, Germany.
