Katie is a recognised author, keynote speaker, and international trainer on artificial intelligence, as well as digital transformation. She is a frequent commentator on BBC TV and radio, and has delivered two TEDx presentations. Katie is Founder and Managing Director of award winning digital marketing agency, Zoodikers, and CEO of AI in Marketing, a boutique management consultancy, established to help organisations to unlock the potential of AI to fuel growth. She is also a Co-Founder of AIinFM – Artificial Intelligence in Facilities Management, as well as Chairperson of the UK industry body, the PRCA – the Public Relations Communications Association.
As well as this, she recently wrote a book on AI for well-known publisher Kogan Page, to be published in January 2019. For her research, Katie interviewed leading global telcos, world-class brands, tech disruptors, venture capitalists, academics and many more.
Katie consults and trains in numerous sectors, including telecoms and IT. This spans the globe and involves work for multiple job functions including the C-Suite, HR, sales, operations and marketing. She has recently been working with telcos and MSPs in the Middle East, running 3-day workshops on how to exploit AI for business growth. Katie also delivers online training courses on how African telcos can exploit AI, as part of November’s AfricaCom, organised by KNECT365.
As well as an MBA, Katie has a BA (Hons) in French and German and a Diploma in Marketing. Katie’s illustrious corporate career spans 29 years, including 8 years as a Director of Next Fifteen Group Plc. During these years, she has advised and coached numerous international brands including telcos and global brands such as Batelco, Huawei, BT, Cisco, Alcatel, o2, as well as Virgin, Harrods, NatWest and many more.
In addition to being a respected author and inspirational speaker, Katie King regularly trains schools, colleges and universities, delivering inspiring but down-to-earth talks on Artificial Intelligence, Social Media, STEM careers, social mobility, entrepreneurship and staying safe online. Katie grew up in Tottenham, North London, and a few years ago she set up a programme to support students in Haringey Sixth form centre.
