Internet of Things World returns to Silicon Valley with an expanded expo floor, conference program and much more. Taking over the entire venue, the Santa Clara Convention Center has provided space for the much needed growth of the event and is located in the heart of IoT, where it all began – Silicon Valley.

Directions and Parking - From San Jose International Airport (Interstate 101 North)

Take San Jose Int’l. Airport’s Guadalupe Pkwy. Exit. Turn left on Guadalupe Pkwy. follow onto I-101 North. Follow I-101 North approximately three miles and exit at Great America Pkwy. Turn right on Great America Pkwy. The Convention Center is located at Great America Pkwy. and Tasman Ave. You can find the Convention Center Parking Garage by exiting at the Hyatt Regency’s 2nd driveway at Bunker Hill Rd.

From San Francisco International Airport (Interstate 101 South)

Follow San Francisco Int’l. Airport’s exit signs to I-101 South towards San Jose. Take I-101 South approximately 30-40 minutes and exit at Great America Pkwy. Turn left at Great America Pkwy. The Convention Center is at Great America Pkwy. and Tasman Ave. You can find the Convention Center Parking Garage by exiting Great America Pkwy. at the Hyatt Regency’s 2nd driveway at Bunker Hill Rd.

From Oakland International Airport (Interstate 880 South)

Exit Oakland Int’l. Airport and take Hegenberger Rd. to I-880 South towards San Jose. Take I-880 approximately 30-40 minutes to Highway 237 towards Mountain View. Follow Highway 237 to Great America Pkwy. exit. Turn left on Great America Pkwy. The Convention Center is at Great America Pkwy. and Tasman Ave. You can find the Convention Center Parking Garage by exiting off Great America Pkwy. at the Hyatt Regency’s 2nd driveway at Bunker Hill Rd.

Directions by Train - CalTrain to Convention Center

If you are going to the Convention Center or Great America theme park, you will have to transfer at Caltrain’s Mountain View station. From there, take Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) Light Rail to Santa Clara’s Great America station.

Handicap parking is located In the front parking lot of the Convention Center. The entrance to the Center is located on Tasman Drive and Convention Center Way.

What is the best way to get to and from the venue?

As traffic can be quite heavy during commuting hours, we strongly recommend utilizing public transport including the VTA, or ridesharing, such as Uber or Lyft.

When and where do I pick up my badge?

If you have registered online, you will be sent a ‘Fast Track’ Pass in advance of the show with a barcode on. Bring this with you to the event and we will scan it on arrival in the convention center foyer (registration area) for quick access to the show.

If you don’t have a Fast Track pass, don’t worry, as we can search for you in the registration system and print your badge.

Where can I see Startup Pitches?

Startup pitches are taking place on May 16th and 17th throughout the day on the Project Kairos Pitchoff Stage in the Great America Ballroom. Take a look at the agenda section on the app or website for more information on timings.

What content is free and what is paid for?

Free content is available on the Expo floor at the Ecosystem Center Stage, Futurist Stage, and Project Kairos Pitchoff Stage as well as Insider Sessions, Knowles Audio Conference, and SAP’s Interactive Learning Session.

Keynote presentations, Analyst Breakfast Briefings, and the conference tracks running each day are only accessible to conference attendees only.

Are there any networking parties?

Are lunch and refreshments include in my pass?

Lunch and refreshments are included if you have purchased a conference pass: Everything, Plus, Startup, Conference, Developers Conference, Preconference Workshop Day (May 14th only).

Free Expo Passes DO NOT include lunch and refreshments. There will be lots of cafes and concession stands inside the convention center for you to grab a bite to eat.

Is there car parking at the venue and how much does it cost?

There is free parking at the Santa Clara Convention Center. We recommend arriving early.

May 15th:

Where are the keynotes and conference sessions taking place?

The Keynotes are taking place in the Mission City Ballroom. The conference tracks are taking place in the Grand Ballrooms and second floor of the convention center. Visit the floorplan section of the app for more details.

Does my expo pass grant me access to the keynotes?

No, only conference pass holders have access to the keynotes and conference tracks each day. You can upgrade your pass at the registration desk.

Where are the Ecosystem Center Stage, Futurist Stage, and Project Kairos Pitchoff Stage located?

The Ecosystem Center Stage and Futurist Stage are located in the main Expo Hall.

The Project Kairos Pitchoff Stage is located in Startup City (Great America Ballroom).

These stages are open to everyone to attend.

Where can I buy food and beverages at the event?

There will be multiple cafes and concession stands located in the Expo Hall where food and drink can be purchased. There is also a Starbucks onsite and you can dine at the Hyatt Regency for a sit-down meal.
