Geoff Taylor is Chief Executive of the BPI, the representative trade association for UK record labels, and of BRIT Awards Limited, which each year stages The BRIT Awards. Geoff is also responsible for the annual Mercury Prize. Geoff Taylor is additionally a Director of the Official Charts Company, a Governor of both the BRIT School for the Performing Arts & Technology in Croydon and of East London Arts and Music (ELAM) – the industry academy , and a Trustee of the BPI & BRITs’ charitable arm, The BRIT Trust, which supports charities that promote education and wellbeing through music.
