The organisation plays a pivotal role in bridging industry, NHS and academia.

Neelam’s significant experience, has included private and public sector and not-for-profit. She has held a number of functional leadership roles with the pharmaceutical industry. As part of the industry research committee at the Association of British Pharmaceutical Industries, Neelam was a contributor to the development of a national framework for industry clinical trial contracts and costings. Neelam has represented industry on a European Innovative Medicines Initiative exploring the linkage of electronic health records for research and more recently has been part of a collaboration with NHS England, NICE and Public Health England to publish Evidence Standards for Digital Health Technologies. Alongside her role as CEO, Neelam supports companies in resolving their research and development needs by advising on the UK regulatory and access landscape and connecting to relevant research expertise and infrastructure. Neelam is a member of the NICE steering group on a pilot of digital health technology evaluation, a member of the advisory group for Public Health England digital health evaluation and a member of the advisory board of the Pan-London NIHR Research Design Service.
