Sarah Garrett has been working in diversity and inclusion for 20 years, creating conferences, awards and exhibition events, such as Investing in Ethnicity initiative, which produces free tools such as the Maturity Matrix supported by the All-Party Parliamentary Group and the Ethnicity Ally’s Toolkit, the Ethnicity Awards and the British LGBT Awards. In 2017 she was awarded an MBE in the Queen's New Year Honours List for her services in the diversity and inclusion. Sarah continues her fondness of journalism and is a regular writer for Huffington Post, Independent and Metro as well as publishing articles in other mainstream press.
