Mark Goossens is the IBM Client Director for the Home Office & Police and is responsible for joining together all aspects of IBM’s engagement with these clients. He started this role in January 2013. Alongside this, Mark is also the Vice Chair of the Justices & Emergency Services Committee at techUK, the body representing the industry to Public Sector.

Mark has been with IBM since 1999 in a number of roles across Public Sector, Prior to that he worked for 3 other international IT suppliers in various roles including Public Sector Sales Director and as part of the country management team.

His current role is something that he is genuinely passionate about and feels that IBM can enable real change across government by helping to join up data and then use sophisticated analytics to extract actionable intelligence.

Mark holds a BSc Honors Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering. He enjoys family life and has four children (young adults?), who he hopes will soon stop treating him as an ATM. His hobbies include motorsport and photography
