Bryce Mitchell has been working at TELUS, a Canadian fixed & wireless operator, for over 22 years and has a unique background of traditional telecommunications engineering and software development. He has been at the forefront of some of the industries’ most significant transformations: the move from TDM to IP, the deployment of IPTV and the introduction of Mobile services to name a few. Bryce is currently leading the evolution of TELUS to a cloud enabled Telco, based on NFV and SDN technologies. He’s successfully deployed and scaled a national NFV cloud platform with several Virtual Network Functions running live in production . He is a keen advocate of applying the best methodologies of web-scale engineering and modern software practices to the communications industry.
