Edmond Shapiro, Director Sales Engineering at Qwilt, leads worldwide technical sales teams, managing customer and partner relations with companies including Verizon, Telecom Italia, Valve and Globo as well as providing leadership for technical integration and solution deployment.

Qwilt’s Content Delivery Sharing (CDS) service has enabled content publishers to benefit from the delivery of their content at the “true edge” of the service provider networks. Using open caching standards, edge cloud deployment of Qwilt’s vCDN technology and globally available cloud API, Qwilt’s CDS solution scales rapidly to provide content publishers and service providers with unprecedented capacity at higher quality and lower costs than alternative commercial CDNs.

Before joining Qwilt, (2012-2017) Edmond was responsible for worldwide technical sales and served as Director of Technical Sales in Cisco’s Service Provider Platform and Applications group. Prior to Cisco (2007-2012), Edmond served as Vice-President of Delivery in NDS with expertise in broadcast and IPTV software and security services. Edmond has been responsible for developing and promoting global technology standards such as the Downloadable Conditional Access standard used in the service provider industry.
