Profile
Jim is the Market Development lead for the Communications Services Providers market segment, focused on data center modernization, cloud security, service assurance and data plane processing technologies and solutions. Prior to that, Jim was the senior technology lead for Storage and Security Technologies in the Data Center Group at Intel. In this role, he was responsible for the definition of products and usage models for datacenter and cloud security solutions. He came to Intel when that company purchased Conformative Systems in 2005. At Conformative, Jim led all product marketing activities for the XML processing appliance portfolio. Prior to that, James held several leadership roles in marketing, strategy, market development and business and technology planning for Compaq and Hewlett Packard enterprise server, workstation and storage business units.
Jim is a graduate of Bridgewater State College in Massachusetts, and is co-author of the book: Intel® Trusted Execution Technology for Servers: A Guide to More Secure Datacenters. Jim is an avid distance runner and enjoys volunteer coaching with a local marathon training group and a local youth soccer league.
